Green Chai Smoothie

This is for sure one of my favorite smoothies! Super creamy and full of flavor! The fresh ginger gives it that kick that you normally don't get in smoothies. And talk about a health boost! This smoothie is not only mouth-watering but it is also filled with wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. 😘


Ingredients

  • 1 banana

  • 2 large or 4 small dates

  • Scoop of vanilla protein powder

  • Handful of Spinach

  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp of turmeric

  • 2 inches of fresh ginger

  • Ice

  • 6 oz of almond milk


Method

  1. Cut the skin off of the ginger.

  2. Blend all of the ingredients.

  3. Enjoy!

Personal Notes and Tips

  • To make the smoothie thicker, use a frozen banana.

  • You don't have to measure out 6 oz of almond milk every time, I just pour a little bit in. You can always add more if you need to.

  • My favorite vanilla protein powder is Tropeaka's Vanilla Lean Protein Powder
