Here are some of my favorite green smoothie combinations. They are a great way to have a delicious sweet smoothie but also eat your greens. Now who could ever image that such thing was possible!

Recently I have been having a green smoothie every day with a scoop of homemade nut butter, and may I say, I absolutely love it! Definitely has the power to lift your spirits and leave you feeling healthy and energized for the rest of your day! 😉

Summer Refresher

Ingredients

  • Banana

  • Frozen Mango

  • 1-2 leaves Kale, destemmed

  • 1 small Cucumber, or break off a piece of a large cucumber

  • 10+ Mint leaves

  • Lemon juice

  • Ice

  • Spalsh of Water or Coconut water

My Go-To Smoothie

Ingredients

For the Love of Mango

This is the same as My Go-To Smoothie but instead of a banana use frozen mango!

Personal Notes and Tips

  • If you want a more filling smoothie and want to add some healthy fat, you can always blend in some nuts, nut butter, non-dairy yogurt, or what I like to do is actually sprinkle some nuts into my smoothie. I'm weird and I like to drink my smoothies with a spoon no matter the consistency, so the nuts add a nice sweet and salty taste as well as a crunch!

  • If you are craving a sweeter smoothie, add in some dates or agave.

  • I understand that not everyone has Tropeaka protein powder (although I recommend investing in some if you can) or a protein powder that they like the taste of. I almost always add some of the protein powder which has a little sweetness to it, so if you don't have that then I would recommend adding in some dates or agave and some vanilla extract for a sweeter smoothie with the vanilla flavor.
