These are my family's favorite protein balls! They are great for if you need a quick snack on the go or if you are craving a sweet treat and want a healthier optionš
Ingredients
6 Medjool dates
1/4 cup liquid sweetener
2 Tbsp almond butter
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup pecans
2 tsp Maca powder
1 tsp cinnamon
Method
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor.
Roll into balls
Store in fridge or freezer
Enjoy!
Personal Notes and Tips
For a liquid sweetener, I use maple syrup, but I know that rice malt syrup and agave is another popular one.
If you don't have any almond butter but you do have almonds, you can use my warm roasted almond butter recipe!
If you blend them for a very long time it almost becomes more like a spread...which might be something interesting to tryš¤Ŗ
