Sezzy's Spiced Protein Balls

Yummmeeeeyyy! The first time I made these was the day before I had a volleyball tourney, so I brought a few up with me with the intention of sharing with my team buuuut instead I ate them all... sorry girls, still love you😘



Ingredients


  • 1 cup dates

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup crushed pecans

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil

  • dash of ground ginger

  • cinnamon

  • 3 tbsp almond meal

  • 3 tbsp Tropeaka's Vanilla or Caramel Lean Protein Powder (you can use any protein powder but this one is highly recommended)


Method


  1. Soak dates in hot water for 15 minutes.

  2. Blend the soaked dates with a splash of water.

  3. Put the blended dates in a bowl and mix in all of the other ingredients.

  4. Roll into balls.

  5. Enjoy then or store in the fridge!


Personal Notes and Tips


  • Honestly if you prefer bars, you can easily turn this recipe into protein bars by spreading the batter in a pan, cooling it in a fridge, and then slicing to serve.

  • If you love Tropeaka's Lean Protein Powder (like me) you will love these!
